miota Community Centre is situated at 50 4th Street and is available for rental to the general public. The capacity of the centre is 240 people for sit down lunches or dinners and 288 people for socials. It has a small stage and its own sound system. The rental includes all plates, cutlery etc.
The facility is available for various functions, either on a one time basis or regular usage, such as: Hamiota Lions Club Meetings, Senior Group Card Parties, Floor Shuffle and Carpet Bowling. Annual events include Ducks Unlimited Banquet & Auction, Arts Club Tea & Show, Quilt Till You Wilt Group Show, Kids Club Mall in the Hall. Other uses are birthday parties, anniversary parties, reunions, funeral lunches, pre-wedding socials, weddings and receptions, as well as meetings.
