About this organization
Built in the mid 60s, it was designed by renowned architect tienne Gaboury who also designed the Saint-Boniface Cathedral and the Esplanade Riel. It is the first church in Canada to be designed following the principles of Vatican II. With its long narrow stained glass windows, the interior is as unconventional in concept as is its unusual exterior and it is surrounded by beautiful gardens. The Church celebrated its 50thanniversary in 2016.
