About this organization
The Centre was incorporated in 1974 as a not-for-profit charitable organization.
We have hosted many popular events like our Annual Fall Supper and the Icelandic Celebration Pancake Breakfast.
We provide our members with several social opportunities each year in the form of Dances, Dinners and Other Special Occasions to help keep them socially active.
The Gimli New Horizons Centre is a non profit organization. As such, we continue to operate only through limited provincial and municipal funding, membership and activity fees, and the generosity of the Community and Members. We can offer official tax receipts for charitable donations, bequests, memorial donations and gifts. Feel free to contact us for more information.
Our Mission "The Centre will be an asset to the community by providing a pleasant place for recreation, relaxation and companionship and by encouraging all members to remain active and socially connected while maintaining their physical and mental health."
