About this service
Funded by the Law Society of Manitoba and The Manitoba Law Foundation, the Law Phone-In & Lawyer Referral Program provides:
- general legal information and advice over the phone in response to callers inquiries,
- if appropriate, referrals to law-related agencies,
- in appropriate situations, a referral to a lawyer on the Lawyer Referral panel. The first interview with that lawyer is free (up to half an hour).
The Law Phone-In & Lawyer Referral Program has two lawyers on staff. Because of the high volume of calls, calls will be returned in the order they are received. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
