About this service
The Northern Patient Transportation Program (NPTP) is available to all residents of the Town of Churchill.
The NPTP liaises with Churchill Clinic staff and doctors to:
- Coordinate referrals
- Follow up on referrals
- Coordinate appointment/s
- Notify clients of appointments
- Coordinate transportation for elective and emercency transfers
- Liaise with Winnipeg based escort when being used
- Liaise with First Nations and Inuit Health to coordinate intercity transport and boarding
- On-call for after-hours emergency transport on a rotating basis
