About this service
The Womens Resource Centre offers free counselling services to women who have been or are being abused by an intimate partner or family member. Women can receive individual counselling or attend one of our support groups offered throughout the year. Domestic violence may include emotional, physical, psychological, financial, or sexual abuse. The Womens Resource Centre also has free womens counselling services available to Spanish speaking women. The Centre also has a Sexual Assault Advocate and a Community Resource Advocate who can assist in advocating for women in various ways, please see our Advocacy page for more information.

The Womens Resource Centre along with its major contributor, the Family Violence Prevention Program, is dedicated to giving comfort and support to women and families who are affected by domestic violence.
