About this service
Our Settlement Facilitators help individuals and families:
- Learn about living in the community
- Find out about services in the community and how to access them (health care, education, banking, legal, daily living, housing)
- Fill out forms and complete documents (Manitoba Health Card, SIN, child tax benefits, travel documents, Citizenship)
- Understand immigration issues and applications
When you first come to the office you will meet with an Settlement Facilitator. The Settlement Facilitator will ask you for information and refer you to the services and supports you need.
Please have the following documents with you during your first visit to the office:
- Your passport
- A permanent resident card (or letter of confirmation of permanent residence) or landed immigrant papers.
Services are available in English, Spanish, Amharic, Mandarin/Cantonese, Russian and Arabic.
