About this service
As we continue to monitor the emergence of coronavirus in manitoba, we've made the decision to close the brandon youth centre. City of brandon parks & recreation services has also made the decision to cancel the remaining two weeks of lighthouse after-school programming it runs at valleyview, george fitton, green acres, kirkcaldy heights, betty gibson, meadows and riverview school.
Kristopher Campbell Memorial Skate Plaza
The Brandon Skate Plaza Group, in partnership with the City of Brandon, has successfully completed the development of a skate plaza in downtown Brandon. This plaza provides many benefits to Brandon and the Westman area. Brandons youth are provided with an innovative, accessible and challenging skate plaza. The plaza promotes healthy living and encourages an active lifestyle. The plaza has seating areas, trees and landscaping, that welcome non-active users who are there to watch participants.
