Services:

• provides supplemental financial assistance to post-secondary students with limited finances
• offers assistance for federal and provincial loans which are repayable; grants, bursaries and awards which are non-repayable
• is intended to supplement an applicant's own resources or the resources of their immediate family; an assessment of need is completed before assistance is made available
• issues Manitoba Student loans which are interest-free while the student is attending classes full-time, and for 6 months after the student ceases to be a full-time student; Maximum is $140 per week of study
• issues Canada Student loans which are interest-free while the student is attending class full-time; Maximum is $210 per week of study
• provides information on student loan Debt Management Programs
