About this organization
MADD Canada works to stop impaired driving and to support victims of this violent crime. Through our awareness and education programs, we are trying to change behaviours, and make everyone aware that driving when impaired is a criminal and potentially deadly act. Through our public policy, we are working to ensure Canada has effective laws which take impaired drivers off the roads and serve both punitive and deterrent functions for anyone who thinks they can drive impaired without consequence. Through our Victim Services program, we offer support and resources to assist those who have lost loved ones or suffered injuries in impaired driving crashes on their journeys of recovery.
