About this service
The Healthy Independence Program supports adults with intellectual disabilities as they transition out of school based day programming and into adult services day programming and/or into semi-independent living. We work with participants to develop their skills in finance, housing, and activities of daily living. We help them access community resources, medical attention and support them as they venture into the volunteer and or work force within their community. Program participants have access to 24 hour on-call crisis support and solution-based problem solving.
