About this service
The Common Threads Quilt Group meets on scheduled Monday evenings at the St. James Anglican Church at 503 Park Avenue, in Beausejour, Manitoba for 7 PM - 9 PM.An old fashioned quilting bee meant getting together with neighbours and friends to create a quilt for a couple getting married or a new baby on the way. As a quilt was being made, bonds of friendship would be formed.Since September 2006 a group of ladies have been meeting to teach, learn and share their love of quilting with each other. Everyone is welcome regardless of age and skill level.The group was formed after several local ladies found that they had a common interest when attending the St. James Anglican Church Annual Quilt show. Our goal is to learn from each other and help anyone who wants to learn as well as just have some good old fashioned fun.If you wish to join us, or would like more information, please see our website or contact Melissa at (204) 268-3061 in the evenings only.
