About this service
Have you ever seen a juicy berry while walking in the woods and wondered if you could eat it? This program will help you to discover the bounty of edible plants that thrive in the forest. Participants will learn about sustainable harvesting practices that ensure the health of the plants and foraging safety. Different activities will help participants learn the different plants in a fun manner that highlights the many benefits and help that plants provide us while maintaining the importance of respect for the different plants themselves. To further deepen our relationships with the plants that we learn about, a guest artist will lead a workshop exploring how art is an important part of our toolkit when exploring the world around us.
