About this service
The new, purpose-built Rock Bay Landing includes 84 permanent shelter beds, 23 new transitional housing apartments, and two apartments for families Victorias only family shelter. Rock Bay Landing is built to the highest green standards (LEED GOLD) and includes solar panels on the roof, heat recovery, superior insulation and more.
We offer additional space during extreme, overflow conditions. Each resident is given nearly 24-hour access to their rooms, allowing a sense of freedom, dignity and autonomy. Outside, Rock Bay offers a large courtyard for residents to get some fresh air and connect. The facilities provide guests with access to storage, showers, laundry, computers, kitchen and dining facilities, and additional rooms for group work, education and counselling.
