About this service
VIAH provides individualized day programs for clients with needs that are not met in generic day services.
For example: one-on-one day programs have been provided by VIAH to clients who become extremely agitated in group settings.
The general goals of VIAH day programs are:
- To teach community skills, including communication, transportation and self-care.
- To provide opportunities for recreation in community settings.
- To provide opportunities for learning in community settings.
Specific goals are determined in the context of the person's care planning process.
Who can use it?
Persons on the autism spectrum who are Adults (nineteen years or older).
