Threshold Housing Society - Mitchell House

Mitchell House is a semi-independent transitional home for young men aged 16-21. It provides stable shelter and a place where residents feel they belong, where they can grow towards a bright, independent future with the support of Threshold staff. Knowing that they can count on a roof over their heads and on a sense of caring community means that they can concentrate on finding work, finishing school and realizing their true potential.

Mitchell House supports young men as they grow, persevere and prepare for the future. Residents are encouraged to use their time with us to clarify their goals and develop healthy relationships in all facets of their lives. They are trusted with the responsibility of paying rent, preparing their own meals, and keeping the house clean and functioning as well as succeeding at school or a regular job.
