About this service
Medewiwin apartments is a twenty six unit independent, supported housing complex for formerly homeless and homeless at risk Victoria residents. A converted former motel, Medewiwin was awarded the 2004 Best Practices in Affordable Housing award by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation in recognition of its unique peer support community model which stresses independence, a sense of belonging as well as harm reduction, personal growth and wellness.
Pacifica Housing currently provides 170 units of permanent supported housing to single adults and couples who have faced homelessness or who are at risk of being homeless due to mental health and/or addictions issues.
Individuals who are 19+ and wish to be considered for supported housing should call or visit the Downtown Outreach Services office to set up an appointment: 250-356-2555, 826 Cormorant St.
