JHSOV - Manchester House

Manchester House provides a transitional home for people returning to the local community from institutions. Commonly called a Halfway House or CRF (Community-based Residential Facility), the home provides a structured environment, an opportunity to safely reintegrate to the community and become a contributing member of society.

Manchester House accommodates up to fifteen residents in nine single and three double rooms. The house is a large, renovated home, centrally located in Victoria. The home is located near shopping facilities, main bus routes, with easy access to Camosun College, the University of Victoria, and employment centers. Residents are responsible for providing their own meals with the encouraged use of the two fully equipped kitchens in the house. Residents are required to assist in the overall maintenance of the house, keeping their rooms and other areas clean and organized. Laundry facilities are also available at the home.
