About this service
We believe in womens capacity to recover their strength and grow their confidence and resilience for a better life. Our Victoria, Westshore and Sooke campuses offer a safe, confidential environment to help end isolation, and to learn & support each other in a classroom setting, while building personal & community supports.
We are trauma-informed, strength-based and women-centered in order to meet each woman where she is at without judgment or expectations.
The Older Womens program is a weekly support group for women over the age of 50. This group explores the interconnection of trauma and employment through learning, sharing stories, and connecting with other women in the community with various experiences in volunteerism, employment, and entrepreneurship.
Counseling and academic upgrading is also available.
