About this service
Support from parents and families is key to a child's success in counselling. I will meet with parents to provide consultation and resources, and to help parents develop strategies that can be used in the family context to support their child. With the child being the main client, confidentiality will be maintained, however family counselling can be provided if required and requested.
I also provide educational consulting to parents who need support navigating the educational system in order to best meet their child's academic, social and emotional needs. Sometimes conflicts between school and home arise. I can act as a mediator or behind the scenes consultant for parents who need support in this area.
