About this organization
The Victoria Brain Injury Society (VBIS) is a non-profit organization that provides support, referral, education, programs and advocacy for brain injury survivors, their families, and the community as a whole. VBIS also provides educational services to the public at large and other social service agencies needing assistance to obtain a better understanding of the complex issues that arise when living with an acquired brain injury. Our programs include one to one case management for individuals and families, family support group, peer support program, Acquired Brain Injury 101, Coping Strategies, Creative Arts Program (CAP), ACE(Awareness-Choices-Education) AddictionsProgram, Music Program, Wali & Run Program, yoga, chair yoga, mindfulness and a volunteering program.
