About this service
Our Program serves clients over the age of 19 who are diagnosed with a major mental illness and experiencing significant problems that interfere with their functioning in the community.
Clients primarily fall into one of two categories:
- Schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders
- Mood disorders, i.e. bipolar and major depressive disorders
Our multi-disciplinary services are provided through eight mental health teams and a variety of specialized programs.
Services are also provided to people who have co-occurring disorders such as personality disorders, substance abuse/misuse, mental challenges, etc.

VCH - Strathcona Mental Health Team is open Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5:15pm, Weekends: 9 - 5 pm.
