About this service
UGMs affordable housing units are provided through a Union Gospel Mission Housing Society partnership with BC Housing. Whether its independent suites for men and women who are committed to maintaining a sober lifestyle, family-oriented units, or transitional housing, all of our housing facilities provide a safe, warm, and supportive place to call home. We having housing units at our 601 E. Hastings building, Maurice McElrea Place, and the Orchard in Surrey. Units and eligibility requirements vary; please get in touch with us for more details.
The suites have their own permanent address, which allows residents to receive mail and apply for jobs, ID, and other necessities imperative to becoming full participants in their communities. All housing facilities have video surveillance and are well maintained by UGM's maintenance and custodial staff. Only tenants and appropriate staff are allowed entry onto premises.
