About this service
Peggys Place is a one of a kind transition home designed to meet the needs of women suffering from mental illness, who have also experienced domestic violence, or homelessness.
Fun fact: When it opened in 1997, Peggys Place was the first of its kind in all of Canada.
A caring team consisting of a manager, full-time psychiatric nurse, part-time advocate, and mental health workers, is available to residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The team provides personalized mental health and substance use support and services.
