About this service
Opened in 2014, KoB contains 139 suites for people who are at risk of homelessness and who may also have mental health and/or substance use challenges.
KoB staff are on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The building also offers recreational programs.
Fun fact: KoB is LEED Gold certified, a certification for buildings aimed at achieving high performance in areas like sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.
This building also includes:
- 20 suites for at-risk youth between the ages of 19 and 24 - Foundry
- 10 suites for at-risk minors between the ages of 15 and 18 - Directions
- Two youth Drop-In Offices
