About this service
Kettle art show: Each year, as part of the Eastside Culture Crawl, we display over 1,000 works of art from artists across Vancouver with lived experience of mental illness.
Kettle camping: Each year, we take 50 of our clients on a 4-day camping trip to Camp Jubilee. Here, campers have the opportunity to swim, hike, kayak, sing, roast marshmallows around a campfire, and much more!
Kettle choir: Research shows that arts programs help individuals who have been stigmatized and isolated by mental illness regain visibility and rediscover their voices.
Writing group: Expressive writing can be a way for people to process and heal from trauma. It can also be a way to express emotions, and share experiences.
