About this service
Located on the second floor of our Venables drop-in, our on-site Health Clinic provides access to a Registered Nurse. We also provide a safe, and non-judgmental place to get medical help.
Care cards or BC Services cards are not necessary.
The following services are offered at the on-site Health Clinic:
- 1Primary care including basic health assessments, blood work and wound care
- Foot care
- Treatment of minor illnesses and injuries
- Immunizations
- Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections
- Rapid HIV testing
- Pregnancy and PAP tests
- Mental health assessments and crisis intervention
- Discussion of healthy lifestyle programs and chronic disease management
- Referrals to other health care services and assistance in navigating the health care system
- Completion of section 3 of Persons with Disabilities applications
- Referrals to primary care clinics, home health and mental health teams

People with mental health illnesses and/or living with homelessness
