About this service

Over the years since SVCPC started to operate, it has developed and launched many special projects and initiatives for crime prevention and public safety. It offers our volunteers the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities and creativity while helping to make our city a better and safer place to live.

Here are some notables throughout the years and many are on-going

  • Developed an International Student Safety Program
  • Held their First Annual Christmas Toy Drive
  • Began using the Vancouver Police Departments Stolen Auto Recovery Program
  • Launched a comprehensive Meth-Watch program
  • Created the SVCPC Recruiting Unit
  • Launched Mobile Office program for community outreach and crime alert notices distribution
  • Developed a Sexual Exploitation Prevention Guide for International Students
