About this service
Peer support is a relationship founded on shared lived experience, mutual respect, and the giving and receiving of encouragement and help. Sanctuary resources peer support groups for people of faith who are living with or affected by mental health problems. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to share their experiences in an environment where Gods love and presence are recognized as a source of healing and hope. Living Room and Family Room are peer support groups where faith and mental health are brought together in conversation. These groups are hosted by local churches and reflect the ministry life of their respective congregations.
