About this service
Harbour Light has been a grateful participant in the winter shelter strategy, made possible by partnership between BC Housing and the City of Vancouver. The Beacon Annex (24-hours) and Anchor (overnight) shelters open for the season on November 1st.
Provides low-barrier emergency accommodation for men and women ages 19 and over. Offers between 40 to 50 mats, with a separate room for women. Residents are expected to be out during the day. No maximum stay. No alcohol, drug use, or smoking on the premises. Light meal provided on intake, coffee and a muffin provided in the morning. No pets allowed. No storage space for carts or bikes. Shower facilities are available. Wheelchair accessible.
