About this service
We understand that some refugees come from places that werent safe and that trauma has an effect on the development and behaviour of both women and their young children.
Home Visitors work one-on-one with refugee families to bring a structured, home-based program to address the familys specific needs. They engage parents to actively identify and plan activities for their young children, help them have conversations on how the familys situation may affect the child, and work on the achievement of developmental milestones.
