About this service
Building Bridges helps immigrant and refugee women discover themselves. In a safe and inclusive environment, women work in a group setting through collaboration, discovery and sharing to re-build their capacity.
This program is aimed at skilled immigrant and refugee women who want to explore career options and understand the Canadian workplace culture. A level of English at the Canadian Language Benchmark 6 or higher is required. Women must be able to commit to a four-month long program, including a 20-hour practicum placement in a community service of the participants choosing.
