About this service
The program has 10 beds and 24/7 clinical care and program support. There are 10 rooms, each of which has its own bathroom and kitchen. Residents receive 3 meals and day and are given whatever support they require to improve their health, whether that is accompaniment to medical appointments or encouragement to take a walk around the neighbourhood.
The PSS was one of the first programs in Vancouver to offer a Managed Alcohol Program for chronic alcoholics.
Who can use it?
Residents who have previously been hospitalized many times in any calendar year
