About this service
Named for the former tram terminus across the road, the InterUrban Art Gallery reflects the Downtown Eastsides rich historical and cultural heritage.
The gallery serves the community and surrounding neighbourhoods with outstanding visual art exhibitions, arts programming and classes, event space, community activities, multi-media exhibitions and, most importantly, by being an accessible and welcoming space for low income artists and residents to exhibit and develop their work.
The InterUrban Gallery is a volunteer-centred community art space designed to engage the community and stimulate and sustain the vitality of the arts, promote cultural exchanges and support emerging artists.
