35 sleeping rooms in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver.
Permanent supportive housing provides long-term housing for people who require assistance in maintaining their housing. Lookouts Tenant Support Workers (TSWs) provide a multi-faceted service that includes ongoing support and advocacy on behalf of the tenant with the goal to maximize positive outcomes. TSWs work each tenant to develop case plans that address tenant needs that may include anxiety, trauma, mental health, addictions, chronic illnesses. Tenants are encouraged to be active participants in their residence through opportunities that include Tenant Advisory Council, fire marshals, community kitchens, and other group activities.
