About this service
Learning is First (LIFT) Homework Club: is a partnership program of the Vancouver School Board, Community Schools Team, and LMNHS that provides free tutoring, healthy food, mentorship, and recreation at Sir Charles Tupper and John Oliver Secondary School and supports the inclusion of 400 youth who face multiple barriers to success in school. The program strives to provide lifelong learning and academic success by keeping vulnerable youths minds active to acquire academic achievement and career readiness while keeping their bodies physically moving with recreational-based activities.
