About this service
Helping Spirit Lodge is a 10-bed transition house that opened its doors in May 1991. Spirit Lodge is a first stage transition house providing women and children fleeing domestic violence a safe and supportive space to stay. Here, women have access to food and clothing, and while Spirit Lodge honours many Indigenous teachings, we respect the cultural diversity of our clients, and look to meet the needs of those in the space.
