About this service
Newcomer Youth Luv the Grub is a youth employment and settlement support program for newcomers operating out of Frog Hollows kitchen. This is a partnership with Luv the Grub, a zero-waste social business founded by local entrepreneur Alia Sunderji. Newcomer youth overcoming barriers to employment learn food production and business skills by creating jams/preserves from rescued produce surplus. These products are sold at local markets, and profits are reinvested in the program.
