About this service
COVID-19 UPDATE: The Ministry of Health has advised that all Adult Day Programs (including ours at the Family Respite Centre) will be temporarily suspended effective March 20, 2020. Our Overnight Respite program has re-opened (August 2020) with limited capacity to observe appropriate physical distancing guidelines. See website for updates and further information.
Every weekday, our Adult Day Program accommodates up to 20 guests. The Program enhances the well-being of seniors through a full range of recreational, social and therapeutic programs:
- Arts and crafts
- Fitness and tai chi programs
- Active games and memory games
- Discussion groups
- Bus outings
- Gardening
- Music therapy
- Pet therapy
- Entertainers
