Collingwood CPC - Work Experience

Their work experience range from 1 week to 1 month and is a great opportunity for students to get exposure to Vancouvers crime trends and learn CPCs response to these trends. Students will participate in foot patrol, crime prevention initiatives, community outreach programs, and attend court trials. It will help students have better understanding of their choice of career and in their future applications.

We accept placements as early as September, beginning of the school year. There is limited number of space so advance planning is essential. Placement opportunities are arranged through high school work experience coordinators. On-site training, supervision and evaluation are provided.

The benefits of our placements include:

• Completion of government requirements for graduation
• Letters of reference upon successful completion of program
• The opportunity to work closely with Vancouver Police

students in grades 11-12, who are interested in law enforcement, an insight into policing.
