About this service
The Super Fun Group builds resiliency, creates connection and instills confidence to children who live with a parent with a mental illness by providing monthly outings. In addition to increases the social network of children and promoting social skill development, the program ensures that youth have the opportunity to interact with safe and supportive adult role models, and focuses on forming healthy attachments through ongoing acceptance and long-term participation in the program. With this approach, youth achieve success in the programs where they might not in other areas of life. The program also offers family nights to help all members of the family learn how to improve the overall mental health of their family.
