About this service
The Shift Program, in partnership with Virgin Mobile RE-Generation, provides youth, with barriers to employment, the skills and training to be able to work in culinary jobs. Youth in the program will receive
- Eight weeks of employability and life skills training
- First Aid, WHMIS, and Safe Harbour certificates
- Job coaching and mentorship for 3 months after program completion
- Workshops to develop financial literacy, resume building, and personal job searches.
Participants will have an on-the-job work experience with one of our high-quality partner companies. The program is free to participants and they will receive training incentives.
