About this service
The Community Transitional Care Program, located in Coquitlam, B.C., helps ensure that forensic clients and patients who need support as they transition back home continue to receive the care they need.
Who are transitional and supportive housing programs for?
Our transitional and supportive housing programs are designed for people who have received a conditional discharge from the BC Review Board. A conditional discharge means that someone who has been found not criminally responsible for a crime or unfit to stand trial due to a mental disorder is well enough to live outside the Forensic Psychiatric Hospital, but must still live where as directed and participate in monitoring and ongoing treatment.
