About this service
Financial Assistance Fund provides limited funds to our clients who are in need a subsidy for their medications, short-term housing, or moving expenses.
Here are some examples of assistance provided:
- The FAF provides assistance towards medications. This assistance was provided to individuals with no medical coverage, who had nowhere else to turn. The assistance provided went toward medications that were desperately needed in order to stabilize health.
- The FAF assisted individuals and families with costs related to achieving and maintaining stabilized housing along with expenses incurred with phone connection costs. The FAF guidelines ensure that assistance is provided toward alleviating immediate crisis, in order to realize or regain safe housing.
