About this organization

Shiloh Housing Society (SHS) was formed in 1988 by Rev. Bernice Gerard, Velma Thompson, and the Sunday Line Communications Society to assist in providing affordable rental housing in the Vancouver area, in cooperation with British Columbia Housing Management Commission. The Society currently manages two facilities Shiloh Place and the Redwoods.

SHS is a non- profit organization committed to ensuring efficient, well-managed residences with concern for the physical, social, and spiritual well-being of residents. While recognizing individual choice, the society promotes active participation by residents in building a positive environment in Shiloh Housing residences.
