About this organization
To serve the needs of the Japanese Canadian community and extend a helping hand to seniors and others so that they can lead more independent, healthy, and enjoyable lives.
We are proud that Tonari Gumi has been able to provide a wide array of programs and services of benefit to the Japanese Canadian community for some 40 years. We try our best to meet the needs of the community in both Japanese and English.
We offer volunteer-led educational and recreational programs on a daily basis during weekdays, and we also offer some special workshops and other events on weekends and holidays. We have many different programs geared to a wide variety of interests.
