About this organization
For patients with injuries and illnesses that should be addressed by a health care provider within 12 to 24 hours, but do not require the level of service or expertise found in an emergency department.
Please note that we may need to direct patients to an Emergency Department or other clinic depending on the level of care required and/or if capacity is reached after 8:30 pm (Monday to Saturday) and 3:30 pm on Sundays.
The UPCC is for non-life-threatening illnesses or injuries when you are unable to see your family doctor or care provider.
Sprains and strains
Cuts, wounds or skin conditions
High fever
Infections including chest, ear and urinary tract
Asthma attacks
New or worsening pain
Dehydration/Constipation
Less serious child illness and injury
All patients are triaged and assessed based on the acuity of their health conditions. This means the sickest people are seen first even if you arrived before them.

Persons with injuries and illnesses, but don't need emergency department service
When is it open?
City Centre Urgent Primary Care Centre is open Monday-Saturday: 8 am to 10 pm Sunday: 9 am to 5 pm.
