About this service
Provides group and individual counselling for children ages three to 18 who have witnessed or experienced violence, or are at risk of experiencing violence. Provides support to the non-offending caregiver. Also offers community awareness education about the prevalence and prevention of gender based violence. Offered in McBride and Valemount. Funded by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General as a PEACE (Prevention, Education, Advocacy, Counselling and Empowerment) Program for Children and Youth Experiencing Violence.
