About this service

TDCSS offers people a home that best matches their needs. All homes provide 24 hour a day support with professionally skilled and trained staff. Each home environment reflects individuals personalities, tastes and interests.

Staff strive to offer a supportive and safe environment, while providing opportunities to maximize each persons independence, enhance their personal growth and involve them in their communities in meaningful ways.

All homes also provide access to a vehicle that is maintained by the home. Homes with three or more people living in them are licensed facilities through the Northern Health Authority, and are inspected annually.

To participate in TDCSS Adult Residential Services, a person must have an identified developmental disability, be at least nineteen years of age and be referred to TDCSS through CLBC.
