About this service
The Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapist at the CDC provide consultation services to children, families and their school teams within the school district. OT and PTs may continue to see children of school age who:
- Have long-term physical disabilities and/or difficulties
- Require short-term intervention after injury and/or surgery
- Use specialized equipment (i.e. braces, wheelchairs, walkers)
- Have printing and fine motor difficulties
- Have difficulty keeping up with peers on the playground or in the gym
